- Cardio Intervals. Absolutely the best way to burn the most calories in the shortest amount of time. This workout should be done 1-2 times a week with a few days in between and it only takes about 20-25 minutes including warmup and cooldown. - Single Leg Exercises. Standing on 1 leg can dramatically increase the level of intensity of an exercise. - Drop sets.
