Hot foods- To feel comfortable during cold chills, you need some hot foods to make you feel warmer, to make you feel like heaven. Some of the hot foods we may not include in the list include: Stews, soups, baked noodle casseroles, and few more.
Fat Foods- Fatty foods are important part of winter diet for they help the body to fill the gap of nutrients such as Vitamin D and more. Fats adds value to metabolism, however is helpful only when consumed in moderate amount. Some fatty foods we may not include in the list but are important include: Fish, nuts, olives, and few more.
Mood Control Foods- Do you feel numb in winters? Feel low due to colds? Mood foods may come to rescue. Lack of carbs has been prevalently known as the possible reason for winter mood swings and depressions. Some of the mood control foods not in the list include: brown rice, legumes, whole grain foods, and more.
List of Healthy and Warm Winter Foods to Feel Like Heaven:
Oatmeals- Oatmeals are all time favorite and healthy. Oatmeal is highly rich in carbs and beta-glucan. This may help you reduce the increased cholesterol level during winter (the one that you have had accumulated by eating fried foods and meat). It is nutritious and carries vitamins and minerals helpful for keeping the skin moist and healthy.
Black Bean Soup- Black bean soup sizzled with pepper and chili will help you gain all the warm and comfort required during extreme chills. Black bean soup is nutritious and contains good amount of iron as well as copper that will boost the immunity system to fight winter virus and colds.

Hot chocolate is the most preferred beverage during winter due to the fact that nothing more than a hot chocolate soothes our body during winter. Apart from this, hot chocolate is beneficial during winter for it is assumed that it boosts the microcirculation within the skin and helps the brain to release endorphins; providing calm and soothing effect to the body.
Chili- Chilies including capsicum are a good source of metabolism and heat during winter; if consumed in moderate amount.
Walnuts- Nuts are assumed to be a good source of warmness during winter. Walnuts are a good source of omega-3 fatty acid. Walnuts are also high in Vitamin- B and Vitamin- E.
Sweet Potato- This low calorie winter food can help you gain vitamin-A and other helpful nutrients such as calcium, vitamin C, potassium, and more.
Ginger Tea- The thermogenic effects of ginger may help you boost your metabolism; helping you exercise well as well as keeping your body warm.
